Enable foot switch

The Bernstein foot switch combines the functionality of an enable switch in a foot switch and is approved by the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance). The enabling function is a typical safety function that is used in machines for set-up, cleaning or repair.

The internal three-stage enable switch-in element is a 2-channel version which has a dynamic signaling contact. An optional electronic PNP output is also available - this allows the static determination of position 1 or 3 of the enabling function. The foot switch ensures the compliance of numerous C-standards, including DIN EN 692 and DIN EN 12622.
