PTFE Sealing Paste for all kinds of sealings

The THOMASANN®-High-Chem-PTFE-Sealing Paste, CHETRA® TP, is a nontoxic, odorless paste for sealing of pipe threads as well as pneumatic and hydraulic fittings.

Due to the moldable PTFE particles, which prevent a decay formation, CHETRA® TP provides a flexible, non-hardening sealing and thus eliminates leaks on threads even if high pressure resistance is required. Threaded connections can easily be closed and opened, the threads are prevented from being damaged.

CHETRA® TP is suitable for many alkalis and acids, any kinds of solvents, gases including hydrogen, ammonia, chlorine, propane, butane and nitrogen, as well as for air, steam, cooling agents, seawater and fuels. The sealing paste is not suited for oxygen applications as well as saltpeter and lactic acid.

The PTFE Sealing Paste does not drop and run during the processing and is suitable for use in the temperature range of -240 to +260 °C.
