Fire protection and explosion protection

In case of an explosion, explosion venting systems of IEP Technologies Inc. guarantee the controlled pressure reduction inside a plant. Reducing the pressure to a harmless value can be ensured by bursting discs for pressure venting to the outside or by flameless pressure venting into the room.

The latter component is used in situations, in which hazards due to flame ejection, for example in rooms, cannot be accepted. Both systems are important for a comprehensive plant and personnel safety.

Triple-section bursting discs of IEP Technologies Inc. distinguish themselves by a sturdy construction and their reliability. They are used in rough operation conditions with frequent pressure changes - from vacuum to overpressure. Owing to the domed triple-section design those bursting discs are insensitive to external mechanical damages.

Flat bursting discs of IEP Technologies guarantee, in contrast to other flat constructions being only equipped with crossed beads, extraordinary stability. The rated breaking points are integrated within the mounting frame.

Flameless pressure venting of IEP Technologies is a protection device with flame and dust retention to enable explosion pressure venting in closed working areas. Thus apparatuses located in basements with difficult access or in the middle of production halls can be vented without prior reconstruction measures.

Flameless pressure venting eliminates flames and heat during explosion venting and thus enables operators to position machines, equipment and system parts irrespective of in-company transport routes or neighboring buildings.
