The Hoefer XP series Semi-Dry blotters are the only semi-dry units that offer a built-in intelligent power supply. Take advantage of all the benefits offered by semi-dry blotting - minimal buffer requirements and a faster transfer time - without worrying about buffer depletion.
The intelligent built-in power supply detects if the transfer stack is drying out and, if necessary, will automatically stop the transfer before the stack overheats allowing the user to rehydrate and preventing the loss of a valuable experiment.
Durable iridium oxide and stainless steel electrodes ensure contamination free transfer.
The electrodes are also vented to prevent build-up of bubbles which may impair transfer.
Two transfer sizes are available (14x16 and 21x26cm) and the blotters are available individually as well as bundled with other proven Hoefer products to create complete Western Blotting packages.
