B-SAFETY, the leading German manufacturer of emergency showers and eye showers, is expanding its product range to include emergency showers and eye showers with DVGW approval for drinking water installations that guarantee added safety! Independent certification by the DVGW -- the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water -- is reliable proof of adherence to the recognised rules of technology.
DVGW approval guarantees that the emergency showers and eye showers comply with the valid standards and proves that the essential requirements of the drinking water ordinance are adhered to.
This way, in case of damage, the safety engineer is unburdened of responsibility vis-à-vis the company. Anyone who uses products with the DVGW certification mark is generally protected against accusations of culpable behaviour.
With B-SAFETY's emergency shower combination BR 867 085 / 095 with DVGW approval, the eye shower and emergency shower are combined into a space-saving first aid unit, which should preferably be installed at the exits of endangered areas. The emergency shower combination distinguishes itself through its very easy and mix-up proof operation. The emergency shower is triggered by pulling the drawbar and, when operating, it provides an even, limited and soft stream of water. The B-SAFETY high-performance showerhead used is also designed so that it is self-emptying and largely calcification and maintenance-free. The eye shower with stainless steel catch-basin is triggered by the large PUSH lever. A broad, even and soft stream is achieved between 1 bar and a maximum of 10 bar flow pressure. The integrated quantity regulator keeps the water stream constant regardless of the water pressure. Furthermore, large holes in the B-SAFETY high-performance spray head protect against calcification. The rubber bushings around the spray head protect the victim against injuries due to bumping.
Naturally, the B-SAFETY emergency shower combination complies with all points of DIN EN 15154-1:2006, DIN EN 15154-2:2006, ANSI Z358.1-2004 and DIN 12899-3:2009.
