The Fürth-based uvex safety group has expanded its successful uvex motion style safety footwear series, which was developed in partnership with the German automotive industry, by launching two new S2 models: uvex motion style 6978 and uvex motion style 6979.

All models in the uvex motion style series are exceptionally lightweight, very comfortable to wear and have particularly high breathability owing to uvex climazone, the climate management system. The light and reliable uvex xenova® PUR outsole provides excellent shock absorption, supports the feet during assembly work and ensures prime comfort, while also guaranteeing optimum slip resistance (SRC symbol).

The upper material of the two fashionable, sporty models consists of breathable, water-resistant high-tech microvelour, while breathable distance mesh lining is used to provide inner comfort. These synthetic textiles make both safety footwear models suitable for people allergic to chrome.

The comfort offered by the uvex motion style 6978 and 6979 is further increased by the new antistatic uvex 3D hydroflex® foam insoles for exceptional shock absorption in the heel and underneath the front of the foot. The moisture control system of the removable insoles ensures that feet remain dry and comfortable.

uvex motion style 6978 and uvex motion style 6979 fulfil ESD requirements and are certified according to EN ISO 20345:2007 S2 SRC. The footwear is available in sizes 36 to 48. Both models have steel toecaps and uvex motion style 6978 has elastic laces for quick, individual adjustment.
