Short Duration SCBAs - The Versatile Solution
The short-duration breathing apparatus MicroMaXX is amazingly flexible, light and thus convenient for all sorts of activities associated with work and rescue. With 4.95 kg (ready for use) MicroMaXX is extremely light weight and does not burden the user at all. It is probably the lightest breathing apparatus available.

Ready for use
Made up of a compact pressure reducer, a 3 litre composite cylinder (can be ordered charged or empty), for a service time of approx. 18 minutes, the rugged demand valve AutoMaXX, a convenient multi-pass harness with integrated softbag, plus a full face mask MicroMaXX is always ready for use.

The innovative demand valve AutoMaXX can be disconnected, e.g. for testing. Its maintenance requirements are extremely low, for instance it does not even need any lubrication.

Flexibility
MicroMaXX has a multi-pass harness which permits three different carrying modes. The carrying modes can be switched quickly and easily.

The functional hip carrying mode:
For those applications where there is enough space to move around.

The classic backpack mode:
If for instance the hip carrying mode is unsuitable due to wearing a tool belt, backpack-style shoulder carrying loops are easily made.

The practical carrying mode between the knees:
For example on entering a narrow shaft or sewers the MicroMaXX with one adjustment can be lowered from the hip carrying mode down to the knees.

Options
Basically, two MicroMaXX versions are available: negative and positive pressure.
The positive pressure version MicroMaXX-AS includes the state-of-the art demand valve AutoMaXX-AS and can be combined with any 3S PS-MaXX or Ultra Elite PS-MaXX face mask.

For a complete and ready to use kit you can have the negative pressure MicroMaXX with Advantage 3000 or 3S full face mask. The basic apparatus can also be combined with an Ultra Elite face mask. You have the choice.

Storage
If MicroMaXX is carried but not used, the demand valve and mask are stowed in the water spray protected bag. Moreover, the complete appliance can be kept in an optional storing bag, in a release holder on a wall or in a vehicle.
