Self-monitoring Contact Blocks for Emergency Stops

Even redundant, secure emergency-stop chains are ineffective unless the contact block is accurately connected with the emergency stop button. The patented self-monitoring safety contact blocks by Schlegel are the response to this danger that may occur e.g. as a result of negligent assembly or mechanical damage. In such a situation the self-monitoring safety contact block acc. to EN60947-5-5 and EN13850 ensures that the emergency function is activated and the installation is switched off immediately. It can only be re-started after successful trouble-shooting.
