Security in High Definition – with CCTV lenses from Fujinon

Even the best camera is useless without fitting a lens which matches the resolution of the camera. A megapixel camera can only generate high resolution HD images in combination with a megapixel lens.

Therefore the Japanese lens manufacturer Fujinon continuously focuses on the development and enlargement of its range of high quality megapixel lenses.

At the Security the first 2- megapixel Telezoom lens will be introduced: The D60x16.7SR4D-V41 offers a 60x optical zoom with a focal length of up to f=2000mm and is therefore the first choice for long range surveillance applications, such as airport or harbour security.

The additional two megapixel zoom lenses D32x10HR4D and D32x15.6HR4D feature 1.3 megapixels resolution and a 32x zoom factor with a maximum focal length of f=500mm.

Yet another development of lenses with 5 megapixels resolution, fixed focal lengths and IR correction for day and night applications, will initially make two new models available: The HF35SR4A-1/SA1 with a focal length of f=35mm and F2.0 and the HF50SR4A-1/SA1 offering a focal length of f=50mm and F2.8.

Due to the combination of high resolution and IR correction these lenses are best suited for CCTV and security as well as for traffic applications - such as automatic number plate recognition.

The continuously growing range of Megapixel Varifocal lenses for 1/2" and 1/3” sensors will be shown at the Security as well. The selection of high quality Fujinon lenses covers all focal lengths from wide angle (120° horizontal angle of view) to Tele, and also includes the latest model for 1/2" sensors: the DV10x8SR4A-1/SA1 with a focal length of 8~80mm, which is now available as a day/night model for safety around the clock!
