ERP/PPS and inventory control systems such as SAP are usually highly limited in their communication capabilities with respect to standard distributions. Expanded communication possibilities even simple ones must be purchased expensively in the form of separate software modules. The W&T ERP-Gateway 2 x Digital enables simple control tasks to be carried out with no special drivers or software. With the patented Wayback procedure, only the generally available FTP protocol is used as a utility. Switching commands are sent simply as part of the FTP login procedure by means of the user name and the password.
