NanEye miniature digital CMOS sensor for endoscopic applications

The NanEye sensor series provides high resolution CMOS image sensing performance in minimal form factor.

The sensor, assembled with a special lens fits in a diameter of only 1.4mm, works fully autonomous and can drive up to 2m cable without any external components at the distal end. The sensor measures only 0.96mm x 0.96mm and provides readout timing and AD conversion on chip.

Data is Transmitted via LVDS line. Optionally the sensor is available with a miniature lens and assembled to a cable. Resulting an a camera head of only 1mm x 1mm x1.5mm. This makes NanEy the probably worlds smallest digital camera.
