Personal Microcentrifuge

The Flexifuge Mini centrifuge from Biotool Swiss is designed for quick spin downs from the walls of tubes, microfiltration of HPLC samples, and cell separations. It offers the selection of three operating modes, and can be operated in continuous mode, pulsed for a short burst of rapid centrifugation, or timed to spin from 115 min. Regardless of settings the rotor stops once the lid release button is pushed. The quiet motor offers two speeds (2,000 or 5,000 g / 6,000 or 9,200 rpm) depending on application. The centrifuge stands stable on silicone feet and its small dimensions make it suited for the use in safety cabinets. It comes complete with an 8-place fixed angle rotor for 1.5 ml tubes, a rotor for 0.2 ml PCR tube strips, adapters for 0.5 ml tubes and a 4-place rotor to spin the Argos 5 ml snap-cap centrifuge tubes, supplied by the company.
