The Video Fire Controller is the first system to permit automatic transmission of live image sequences to a control center via a VdS certified connection to a fire alarm system. Fire departments and other security services can use this additional information to visually analyze the scenario, better estimate the hazard and introduce the appropriate measures in a targeted and efficient manner. The Video Fire Controller uses modern MPEG-4 compression via LAN streaming to provide live image display on analog video monitors on location or on PC screens using a standard web browser either on site or via remote access. A recording function supports subsequent evaluation of the alarm source.
