Latest 25W and 35W single output supplies from TDK-Lambda

Following on from the successful launch of the LS Series of convection cooled, single output power supplies, TDK-Lambda has added the 25W and 35W models. The LS25 and LS35 have an input range of 88 to 264VAC (47-63Hz), and can withstand a 300VAC surge for five seconds minimum.

While these general purpose units are well-suited to budget conscious applications, they are up to 4% more efficient than similar products available on the market today. Overcurrent and overvoltage protection are standard features, as is a power on signal. What’s more, the extremely efficient design of the LS Series achieves excellent thermal properties and thereby offers higher reliability.

Nominal output voltages range from 3.3 to 48VDC, delivering currents of up to 7A. To accommodate non-standard system voltages the LS Series is user adjustable by ±10%. Series operation is also possible. Offered with an extended operating temperature range, the LS Series provides full power from -25 to +50°C and can still deliver up to 60% power at 70°C depending on the chosen model.

As well as being EN55011/EN55022 and FCC compliant (achieving class B conducted and radiated emissions), TDK-Lambda’s LS25 and LS35 meet UL/EN/IEC 60950-1 safety approvals and carry the CE mark. All models meet EN61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -11 harmonic correction standards. With a MTBF of over 600k hours, per MIL-HDBK-217F (25°C) standard, the LS Series comes with a three-year warranty.
