Especially in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry is aggressive exhaust air and waste water a sensitive issue. As a specialist for glass lined elements Düker developed some years ago a new glass lined piping system for this market.
Beside of the required chemical resistance and the typical advantages of enamel it offers a high temperature load resistance up to 230°C what is only limited through the sealing material.
The enamel surface guarantees an anti adhesive behaviour -means no adhesion- and due to the smooth surface it is perfect to clean.
Beyond this our new product shows no material embrittlement what is typical for plastic piping. It is break proof, fire safe and has a long-service life.
The most important change is the extended application area. Now the piping is suitable up to 3bar. In the past it was used in unpressurized areas. Today we produce the pipes and fittings from DN50 to DN300 with a wall thickness of 2.9mm (flange thickness 4mm) by our own.
We have two enamel qualities. A quality for low aggressive areas has a coating with a direct enamel. In case of higher aggressive medium with high temperature we use our well known Email800 but only with a coat thickness of 0,4mm. The glass lining is in general pore-free.
The flange connection is made only with loose flanges instead of a pipe clamp what was used in the past. The sealing can be made with a pure graphite gasket.
Alternative a graphite gasket with a PTFE envelope is also available.
