PC Power Pack for the Medical Sector

The 400W PC power pack from Bicker, MHG2-6400P, was designed to meet the requirements of the medical sector and is not only particularly quiet but also complies with international safety standards. An integrated, temperature-regulated fan limits noise to 24.2dB(A) during normal use; a fan monitoring system signals an alarm should the fan fail. The power pack is certified to standards IEC 60601-1, EN 60601-1, UL 60601-1, and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 601.1-M90 and can be used within a temperature range of -10 to 50°C.

The AC/DC power pack is configured for 90 to 264VAC with PFC and has a frequency range of 47 to 63Hz. The device is 79 percent efficient at nominal load and 230VAC. Maximum output current is 28A at the 3.3V output, 35A at the 5V output, 0.5A at the -5V output, 30A at the 12V output, and 0.8A at the -12V output. Additional features include low leakage current (< 300μA), a Power-Good signal, and protective measures such as short-circuit protection at all outputs and overvoltage and overload protection. The power pack also features an external ground stud (M4) for equipotential bonding between other devices.
