The 500V galvanic isolation ensures reliable high performance in industrial embedded systems and maximizes accuracy and signal integrity.
The module offers a 16-bit resolution on both the A/D and D/A converter and provides four software-programmable gains for the analog inputs (x1, x2, x4, x8). Besides the analog and digital inputs and outputs, the data acquisition board has two counter/timers that can be used e.g. for frequency measurements or pulse generation.
All I/O subsystems can be operated simultaneously at sampling rates of up to 150 kHz. The signals are attached through ribbon cable connectors. OEMs can optionally plug their own boards directly into the data acquisition module for custom signal conditioning.
The module ships with an extensive software package, including drivers for .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual C++ or Visual J#. An ActiveX component, “virtual instruments” for LabView, DT-Open Layers drivers, and an evaluation version of the DT Measure Foundry test and measurement application software are also provided. The software package is complemented by a ready-to-measure application that is optimally customized for the USB module. The application features an intuitive user interface and offers the functionality of many standard measurement instruments.
