Day and Night Varifocal Lenses

Kowa is introducing CCTV lenses for cameras with more than 3 Megapixel resolution. The new HD Multi-Megapixel Day & Night varifocal lens series for 1/2 sensors consists of 2 different models. The LMVZ3510 has a focal range of 3.5-10 mm and the LMVZ9020 covers a focal range of 9-20 mm. The outstanding performance of the new lenses is achieved with a special mechanical design and the usage of aspherical lens technology. This advanced optical design easily corrects colour aberration.

By using XD (extra low dispersion) glass, these lenses provide sharp colour images in daylight and crisp black & white images at night under IR light without the need for refocusing. They pave the way for high-end IP-Megapixel applications in an outdoor environment.
