The range of PA products from MONACOR for professional fixed installations has now been extended by further interesting units, including the high-power mono amplifier PA-1960 with an RMS output power of 960 W. The PA-1960 features an additional adjustable priority input as well as a 100V slave input for inserting the amplifier into a 100V speaker line. In addition to the basic equipment, like a temperature-controlled fan and LED displays for error, clipping, signal, etc., it is possible to integrate the fault detection module PA-6FD and the fault monitoring module PA-6FM into the rear mounting cutouts. The PA emergency sound system PA-24FMU which is designed for systems according to EN 60849 is another new product from MONACOR.
The digital voice storage of the PA-24FMU covers 60 seconds and is still kept without operating voltage. The 2-channel anti-feedback controller PA-24FR provides efficient protection against acoustic feedback. The unit will increase the frequency of the signal to be amplified in steps of 1 Hz, selectable from 3 to 15 Hz, and is particularly suitable for voice transmissions. With each feedback loop, the PA-24FR prevents undesired howling sound by further increasing the frequency of the signal. All frequencies are shifted by the same selected value. Together with several further 100V components, detailed information on the units mentioned above can be found in the NEWS 2008 catalogue from MONACOR INTERNATIONAL.
