delair and Lochard are presenting the A-CDM platform which they have developed together. Lochard, suppliers for airport noise management and flight control, and delair, supplier of air traffic management solutions, present the 'Advanced Collaborative Decision Making' platform based on the delair products darts and sally and extended by the Lochard product Anoms. Due to this worldwide unique A-CDM system environment, which operates at the Zurich Airport and is currently being implemented at Frankfurt Airport, an optimum exploitation of available resources can be achieved.
The systems support the controllers to plan and control the precisely timed flight arrivals and departures. By a more exact planning and shorter intervals the runway capacity can be used optimally. Based on flight plans, radar and weather data and considering the means to reduce noise, the tower controllers receive proposals for an optimum sequence of arrivals and departures, combined with corresponding departure and arrival times. The controllers are responsible for the development of the proposals and for a reliable traffic management.
The result is a harmonic air traffic flow which results in a profit for airport, carrier, passengers and residents. Due to less holding patterns, shorter taxi times before departure and optimised processes the fuel consumption and pollution are reduced.
