The new Watec 1/3” Color Camera features a clearly improved resolution of 540 TV-lines, and a sensitivity of 0.05 lx (F1.2). With the very compact and light weight housing of W 42 x H 42 X D 51 mm (weight 160 g), the camera is well suited for industrial and medical applications. In addition to automatic gain control (AGC) and shutter (electronic iris), the following parameters can be set manually at the camera housing: shutter 8 steps from 1/50 to 1/10,000 sec, gain fully 6 to 32 dB, and optimum adjustment of color temperature. The back focus of the lens unit can be adjusted exactly by a fine thread of the lens mount ring.
