Video, Power and Data Distribution Unit

Nitek introduces the PVX44, a new four port video, power and data distribution unit. The unit operates with other Nitek UTP video equipment including video hubs and standard video balun transceivers. It utilises standard four-pair Category UTP cabling as a means of distributing video, power and data for up to four cameras. Any third party Class 2 power supplies can be used with it. The VB43ATF video, power and data transceivers are required at the camera end. The PVX44 transmits four video signals from the cameras into one four-pair Category cable. The suppliers M series hubs can be used for quick and secure installations. The PVX44 can also adapt to existing communication and computer network spare pairs or new cable installations. These units provide superior immunity from noise and interference, even when run in common raceways with AC. The unit also features indicator LEDs to show the presence of power.
