Cherry FingerTIP ID Board with AuthenTec AES2501B Swipe Sensor
The company Cherry GmbH is presenting two new FingerTIP ID Boards. Both the G83-14600, as well as the G83-14700 work to authenticate the fingerprint using the proven AuthenTec AES2501B. The FingerTIP ID Board G83-14600 is also equipped with an integrated PC/SC USB chip card reader. The chip card reader supports all established standards such as ISO 7816, EMV 2000, Microsoft WHQL, USB CCID, PC/SC, HBCI and the PC-2001 specification. With fingerprint sensor and integrated chip card reader, the G83-14600 offers the best-possible protection against unauthorised data access, and is consequently particularly suitable for use in fields with sensitive data, such as for example hospitals, banks and insurance companies.
