With todays live cell imaging research demanding inverted microscopy systems of the highest specification, Nikon has launched the ultimate solution - the Ti series.
Three models are available (Ti-E, Ti-U and Ti-S) offering a complete platform for a variety of applications, uniquely combining: TIRF; confocal; fluorescence and Nikons patented Perfect Focus System (PFS), modalities in one integrated unit.
The fully motorised Ti-E model is the first inverted microscope system to incorporate optical switching technology. All components are controlled through a central hub in the microscope significantly enhancing the speed of operation. The addition of a back port provides simultaneous imaging capabilities for dual camera configurations, essential for rapid cellular events such as FRET, Co-localisation studies, observing calcium sparks and 2 channel endocytotic/exocytotic events.
The systems flexible and modular stratum structure will help users to meet the demands of challenging live cell experiments in fields ranging from neuroscience and embryology to virtually any discipline in the life sciences.
