Ceramic offers optimal features for the pump construction because chemical and wear resistance are nearly optimal.
The functional components of the newly introduced micro annular gear pump mzr-2542 are totally made off ceramics. Next to aggressive mediums, the chemically inert micro annular gear pump of the new modular series is also suitable for the dosage of corrosive mediums. In dependency of the liquids to be delivered, the pump body can be made off alloy 276 and PEEKTM while the rotors are available in ZrO2 and tungsten carbide. Range of applications are found in analytical technology, laboratory automation, microreaction technology and biotechnology. The flow rate of the micro annular gear pump mzr-2542 ranges from 1.5 µl/min to 9 ml/min. Due to its high-precision components and a small clearance volume, this positive displacement pump assures low-pulsation delivery, high repeatability (1% CV) and differential pressures of up to 3 bar.
