Polytec introcudes its new compact USB data aquisition system VibSoft-20 dedicated to the need of portable and stationary Laser Doppler Vibrometers.

Easy aiming on far distant targets to detect vibrations is one of the strength of Polytec Laser Vibrometers. If it comes point and shoot measurements for condition monitoring on bridges or electricity pylons avoiding time consuming sensor installations the laser offers a bunch of advantages over contact sensors. VibSoft-20 is the companion also for mobile data aquistion.

Comprising a compact USB data aquisition unit featuring 2 channels with 10 kHz bandwidth and a IEPE source for 3rd party sensors and a powerfull software package, VibSoft-20 matches the requirements of the frequency and time domaine measurements with Laser Vibrometes. The data aquisition unit VIB-E-220 is powered solely by the USB port the thus ideally suited for notebook operation.

VibSoft-20 is designed for all Polytec Laser Vibrometer models. Packaged with the Portable Digital Vibrometer PDV-100 sophisticated and non-contact vibration measurement by laser is now available independent from external power sources. New applications are now in reach such as condition monitoring measurements on supporting steel structures, piping, hot or far distant measurement points
