The new miniaturized Infrared Thermometer CT 2M for high temperature measurements - one of the smallest worldwide
The miniaturized Infrared Thermometer CT 2M with 1,6µm wave length range was designed for measurements of metals , of secondary metal processing, metal oxides and ceramic materials.
The very small sensing head of the CT 2M with 14mm diameter and 28mm length fits everywhere into small and tight environments. It is usable up to 125°C ambient temperature without cooling.
The measuring temperature ranges from 250°C to 1600°C, an optics of 75:1 with measuring spots up from 1,5 mm is setting a new standard in this class of instrumentation. A new detector and a fast signal processing allow response times up from 1 ms.
The short measuring wave length of 1,6µm reduces error of temperature readings on surfaces with low or unknown emissivity.
High electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) allows applications in induction welding and soldering processes.
