The C-MPDVR digital recorder of CBC is a low-priced and powerful alternative to pc-based management systems or video cards with a choice of 4, 8 or 16 channels. The 16-channel model, for example, provides 400 fields in CIF Format. Here, the optimised MPEG-4 real-time process compresses the data rate many times over without any loss in quality. Highly efficient archiving can be performed with up to 500 GB in the unit itself or, using the option C-MPDVR Array, with another 1.5 TB externally in a separate housing.

Particularly valued on this series are flexibility and cost-efficiency: You choose the number of channels and also whether other options. Such as DVD-RW or remote control, are needed. The simplest “LITE” version is available without these options, therefore offering an extremely low-prices alternative. The embedded system is operated and managed simply and conveniently with the infrared remote control included in the scope of delivery, on the recorder itself or via the network connection. Alarm, event, timer or continuous recording, these are the possibilities of the recorders which do away with the archiving of unnecessary image contents and therefore save resources in the long run. The setting of the sensitivity, resolution and frame rate reduces the impact on the hard disk memory and thus saves additional costs.
