Vacuum Driven Sample Preparation

Vivawell Vac 8-stip plates are unique membrane adsorber chromatography plates for fast and reproducible protein purification and screening. They are modular plates consisting of a 96-well frame, set up with 12 individual 8-strip units. A silicon gasket seals the construct for vacuum processing. The Individual 8-strip units can be run using the Vivawell Vac8 vacuum manifold, while the complete 96-well plate can be operated on the Vivawell Vac96.

The strips are available with strong basic (quaternary ammonium, Q) and strong acidic (sulphonic acid, S) ion exchange chemistry. The high binding capacity of 1 mg per well combined with the pre-packed and ready to use format makes these plates an indispensable tool when performing screening and purification optimization with ion exchange ligands.
