PAT conform exhaust gas analysis for fermenters
Constantly improving developments in these economically priced series BCP sensors from BlueSens has lead to the BCpreFerm system.
With BCpreFerm, both flasks and fermenters of any size can be equipped with CO2 and O2 exhaust gas analysis. That means the parameters are always available online and can be used to calculate the formation and consumption rates along with the respiration quotients. With the latest generation of electronic multiplexers, the BACCom12, measurements taken from 12 sensors can be called up per Ethernet. It is not necessary to position a PC directly next to the fermenters.
As the sensors can be used directly in the process without exhaust gas preparation, they are 100% PAT (Process and Analytical Technology) in accordance with the FDA.
