COOL technology COOL safety:

With the COOL line DÜPERTHAL offers a safe solution for the chilled storage of flammable liquids in small containers in working spaces and rooms. The tested refrigerators have been assigned to type class 90, the highest according to DIN EN 14470-1. The safety cabinets have a fire resistance (FR) of 90 minutes and provide an inner space protected against explosions. In the event of a fire a thermocouple ensures automatic self-closing of the doors by the existing closure control system.

Innovative Functions
The interior fittings of the fire-resistant cabinet carcass are conductively connected to the equipotential bonding saddle on the roof of the cabinet and are suitable for connection to earthing according to BGR 132. The accumulated energy heat can be removed through venting openings and an exhaust air connection, optionally either via an integrated fan or via an already available venting system.

The ergonomic lock arrangement at handle level and the opening of both fire doors with one move make the cabinet particularly user friendly. From an economic point of view the COOL line convinces through efficient cooling from +2°C to +10°C thanks to its separate refrigerator door.

Tested Safety
The fire-protected refrigerators with Type 90 classification offer maximum safety. Type testing according to DIN EN 14470-1 was carried out by the recognised test institutes iBMB Braunschweig and TÜV Süd. The COOL line refrigerators therefore qualify as safety refrigerators for flammable liquids.
