The Baxall ICE Fixed Mini Dome is a high-resolution colour/monochrome camera. It has a 1/3CCD sensor, and uses MPEG4 compression to deliver high quality images at a high frame rate. It will be introduced in to the market in June 2007 being ideally suited for applications where the look and ambience of the camera within its surroundings is paramount, and where discreet high quality surveillance over a network is important, such as banks and retail outlets.
The reliable and robust ICED-IPCM3H39 has intelligent installation features which focus on making life easier for the installer. There are no tools required to focus the camera, and the camera module can be positioned easily via a three Axis GyroView setup. It will deliver 4CIF quality images at 25 frames per second, allowing real time viewing over the network. It has distributed viewing, meaning any number of CCTV operators can view it at any one time. This creates an infinitely flexible and expandable system.
Another Baxall solution is the Vivid and the Qeeps phone service which can now provide owners of CCTV systems with a solution to provide total monitoring of their assets from any where in the world, 24 hours a day 365 days a year. It revolutionises the way DVR equipment is accessed remotely, using a mobile telephone, over GPRS allowing viewing, reaction to alerts, and control devices whether in the workplace, abroad or at home.
It can be used in conjunction Manned Guarding increasing efficiency through mobility and reduced staffing. Guards are alerted to an alarm via the mobile handset, eliminating the need for a guard in the control room. The alarmed situation can be viewed from multiple cameras, in real time, with pan tilt and zoom controls; all of which actioned via the mobile phone and Vivid DVR. For example, video-enabled gate entry calls can be received, operated, and watched live without attending the incident.
