Decentralised control platform
Pilz is expanding the application options of the decentralised control platform PSSuniversal. With its new standard head modules the PSSuniversal can now also communicate exclusively via standard fieldbuses. This enables the PSSuniversal to meet all communication requirements and allows the whole I/O periphery to be implemented economically. Until now it has only been possible to connect Profibus-DP, DeviceNET or CANopen in combination with the safe bus system SafetyBUS p.
With the new, grey standard head modules it is possible to use analogue and digital standard inputs and outputs on the fieldbus systems, without a functional connection to the safety technology.
