Optimising Immunoassays

Interference is a common problem in all immunoassays like ELISA, EIA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, protein arrays, lateral flow assays and others.

But now, new and innovative products like LowCross-Buffer and Blocking Solution increase the analytical reliability. The solutions can be used in all kinds of immunoassays. The sample and antibody dilution buffer LowCross-Buffer reduces interference like cross reactivities, background and matrix effects which are characteristic for blood, serum and tissue specimen. With LowCross-Buffer you can forget about false-positive results and errors of measurement. Blocking Solution from Candor also offers extremely high efficiency in surface blocking. It is based on highly purified and chemically modified casein. Due to a specially developed manufacturing procedure you can achieve a clearly better blocking with lower background. By combination of these two products you can get assays with a very good reliability and very low variability even in the measurement of patient samples or with complex food and environmental specimens. Validations e.g. for FDA can be passed without problems due to the very low variability of results.
