The Beckman Coulter PARADIGM^TM Detection Platform is a unique, modular microplate detection system that allows quick and easy configuration by the user. The platform features a selection of cartridges that can be interchanged in less than five minutes to meet different assay needs, making this the first user-upgradeable and -configurable multimode reader. It is ideal for labs with multiple users and applications.

The innovative Cartridge system allows the user to set up his individual instrument configuration by a simple plug & detect principle, whereby up to 6 top reading and 6 bottom reading cartridge loading positions are available.

A detection cartridge is much more than a filter module, it is 90% of the plate reader for a specific application, including the optimal light source and optical components (filters, dichroics, beam splitters, polarizers, or monochromator) for every application.

8 different cartridges are available, and future cartridges are in development. Beckman Coulter will also provide custom-labeled cartridges to meet individual user needs.
