Laser 2000 presents a compact NIR Raman measurement system which avoids most of the disadvantages of conventional systems but keeps their advantages: Instead of a scanning spectrometer an immotile Czerny-Turner monochromator with a high-efficiency array detector and a thermoelectric cooler is used allowing a minimum integration time of ~15 ms (16 bit resolution). The nominal resolution is 2 cm1 (λ = 785 nm), the covered wavelength range is 150 cm1 3700 cm1. A 350 mW LD laser (785 nm; other wavelengths available on request) is used as a powerful and versatile source. A broad variety of different fiber-coupled probes enables the user to implement any possible application. The USB interface is suitable to operate the device even with (sub)notebook computers. An easy-to-use control and evaluation software and optional calibration kits complete this versatile Raman measurement system.
