LDS Nicolet has released the CAN/DI module for the Liberty data acquisition system. This module adds CANbus and digital input support to Liberty.
With its rugged design and ability to operate under extreme conditions, Liberty is ideal for in-vehicle tests. With the CAN/DI module, Liberty can now record CANbus signals from the device under test as well as analog data from sensors. Digital inputs allow Liberty to record event channels as well as frequency, RPM, counter/timer and quadrature encoder inputs.
Liberty can run from external DC power or its internal batteries and supports stand alone acquisition, independent of a PC. It has been certified to meet the vibration requirements of MIL-STD-810 and exceed the shock requirements of MIL-STD-810, so you can count on Liberty to continue to record data under harsh conditions. Liberty offers external control (external start, external stop and external trigger) and a wireless connection that allows data to be viewed in real-time without a cable connecting Liberty to a PC. All of these features make Liberty an ideal data acquisition system for tough environments.
