Diamond, a new material for pumps
Diamond components confer an almost universal chemical and wear
resistance to the micro annular gear pump mzr®-7255. Due to its high
precision elements made of synthetic CVD diamond with tungsten carbide
core, SSIC and HASTELLOY® the pump assures low-pulsation delivery of
aggressive liquids at pressures of up to 40 bar. A dynamic DC motor
with integrated control enables to obtain flow rates ranging from 48
µl/min to 288 ml/min and to meter volumes as small as 5 µl at a
precision of 1% C.V. To the application fields of the pump belong
microreaction and mini plant technology.
