The new RTVision.h system, which was developed specifically for monitoring profiled beads, produces incredibly precise results and improves noticeably in efficiency thanks to a clever lighting and image capturing concept. Profiled beads are used above all for adhesive applications that are sturdy and critical to safety in automobiles. When it comes to quality control, the tracks height, width, length and continuity must be reliably controlled before joining. However, conventional systems have difficulties in completely capturing the top side as well as the centre of a track. RTVision.h accomplishes this with a revolutionary optical concept in a compact sensor. It is installed directly on to the application nozzle.
