On-Axis Mirrors Provide fast Focusing and High Energy Density

Optical Surfaces Ltd. has announced a new technical data­sheet that describes its range of fast On-Axis Parabolic Mirrors. Downloadable as a pdf-file, the datasheet describes the design features, high technical specifications and choice of options that have made OSL on-axis parabolas the mirrors of choice for many internationally renowned science, defence and space research establishments. Benefiting from a stabilised manufacturing environment Optical Surfaces can, depending on the surface accuracy required, generate very fast focusing mirrors to f 0.5 using proprietary production techniques. Typical specifications achieved include mirrors up to 800 mm in diameter and surface accuracies of up to lambda/20 p-v dependant on diameter and f number.
