High Performance Calcium Assay Kits

BD Biosciences offers 2 calcium assay kits for detec-ting calcium flux in living cells. The kits provide increased signal to background ratios in an easy to use no wash assay format, performing better than kits currently available on the market. The assay system has been successfully used with a variety of cell lines. Different fluorescence-based readers can be used for compound scree-ning and HTS applications. In particular, the PBX-format (probenicid-free) is suitable for the BD ACTOne GPCR screening technology. Kits are available in two sizes providing sufficient material for either 10 or 100 plates (96, 384, or 1536 well).
