High Density Cell Culture System

The BelloCell High Density Cell Culture System is used for protein expression, virus and monoclonal antibody production. BelloCell consists of two components: a special sterile bottle and a compressor. When in use, the bottle is partially filled with medium and inoculated with cells. The medium is raised and lowered alternatively to submerge and expose the BioNoc Carrier, creating a dynamic interface between air and medium on the cell surface. This maximizes nutrient uptake and oxygen transfer and provides a low shear, high aeration and foam free culture environment.
