Radio Wheel Signal Transmitter of MANNER

The new Radio Wheel Signal Transmitter of MANNER Sensortelemetrie has past the acid test. The customers' wish of an easy-to-use system for high dynamic acquisition of data from the sideshaft was the basis of the development. Due to the radio transmission no cables and mounting to the body is necessary. Less mounting effort and a small design makes it ideal for mounting at the outside of the rim. The system is available for strain gage bridge and thermocouple in 1 or 4 channel applications. The sensors are connected to the radio wheel signal transmitter with 'Lemo' connectors.

The signal processing is pure digital with 12 Bit resolution. Sporadic disturbances in transmission are recognised and completely faded out by the integrated data protection CRC. The transmitter is hermetically enclosed and absolutely waterproof. When the accumulator is completely loaded a continuos measuring cycle of 20 hours is guaranteed. The accumulator is recharged contactlessly by an inductive recharging unit that is put over the transmitter. The integrated quick recharging mode allows operation after 1 hour. The telemetry is activated with a magnetic screw. Remarkable is the wide temperature range of -35°C to 120°C.
