Chemical protective suit

Because it is based on a modular system, the AirStar Industry C chemical protective suit for connection only to compressed air supply can be equipped to meet individual customer requirements. It can be ordered either as a gas-tight chemical protective suit with integrated safety boots (Type 1c as per EN 943-1:2002), or as a non-gastight
chemical protective suit with trouser flaps to cover footwear (Type 2 as per EN 943-1).

One striking feature of the AirStar Industry C is how comfortable it is to wear. This is thanks to the lightweight and flexible Symex material, and the low weight of the ventilation unit which is connected to a supply of compressed air. In addition, the hose system inside the suit ensures excellent ventilation, so there is no need for an additional facepiece (e.g. half mask). The large visor ensures a wide field of vision, even in peripheral areas.

Specially sealed seams and a gas-tight, low-maintenance zip fastener that runs diagonally across the back of the suit guarantee an excellent level of protection against contaminants from the front. The suit's high abrasion resistance, combined with comprehensive chemical resistance(1), ensure a long life. Reinforced arms and legs - elbow and knee pads are additionally available as an option - increase safety even further.

Thanks to its versatile qualities, the AirStar Industry C can be used in a wide
range of different applications: from industrial settings to confined space applications and all environments in which compressed air breathing apparatus should not be used. AirStar Industry C is particularly suitable for tank and boiler cleaning, aintenance,
cleaning and repair work, and chemical filling jobs.
