Bernstein CH-3000: Manual control unit housing with enabling switch

For system constructors, developing their own suitable housings for displays, terminals or control units is associated with high costs in terms of both money and time. Bernstein now provides the universal solution for this problem: The new CH-3000 from Bernstein defines a new industrial standard in terms of both ergonomics and safety for mobile housing applications for manual control units.
In order to meet the safety demands in tasks such as the programming, control, operation and start-up of machines, industrial robots and plants, a tamper-proof enabling switch is already integrated in the Bernstein CH-3000. The CH 3000 also boasts excellent ergonomic properties: The shape of the housing supports the operator’s body, thereby allowing long and fatigue-free working periods.
The Bernstein CH-3000 is supplied as an empty housing with an integrated enabling switch and can be fitted with any desired display and control elements, fitted panels from different manufacturers, specially developed HMI electronics, PLC and visualisation modules – thereby covering all the user’s needs. The enabling switch has already been successfully certified by the german BG.
