Flexible Temperature Sensor – Family

TS400/500 offers variable probe connection, a four-digit 7-segment-display and optional switching- or analogue outputs.

Turck has enlarged its portfolio with a new temperature sensor-family. The series TS400/500 is based on the flexible handling, housing and mounting concept of the pneumatic sensor series PS400/500, which was introduced last year. Core elements of the TS series are the flexible connection of the temperature probes, which are available in different lengths and diameters. They can be linked directly or via a cable with a standard connector. By means of a protective tube, the temperature sensor can be adapted even to critical applications.

The sensors of the series TS400/500 dispose of a four-digit 7-segment display. The large and well legible LED-display can be read perfectly, even under poor light condition and form greater distance. The intelligible menu configuration allows the adjustment of parameters with a few steps only.

The temperature sensors of the series TS400/500 work in a measuring range between 50°C and 500°C and offer optionally two transistor switching outputs or either a switching or an analogous output. Additionally there are versions with programmable output function and switch logic available. High EMC-stability, protection degree IP 67 and the stainless steel housing guaranty save operation even under rough environmental conditions.
