The PM-1400 imaging photometer and colorimeter

The PM-1400 imaging photometer and colorimeter delivers an excellent balance of wide dynamic range, high spatial resolution, large field of view and speed. This makes it the first choice for a number of demanding measurement, calibration and defect detection tasks in both the production and laboratory environments.

Since the CCDs used in the PM-1400 series are full-frame CCDs (no gaps between the pixels), they are ideally suited for finding small defects, including pixel defects in a display, or measuring small features such as the brightness and color of LED or OLED pixels. The PM-1400 utilizes a 14-bit, dual-stage, thermoelectrically cooled, scientific grade CCD for stability and repeatability. Two product versions are available. The first offers luminance only and the second utilizes CIE matched filters to permit both luminance and chrominance measurements.

These color capabilities enable the PM-1400 to deliver CIE chromaticity coordinates or color temperature measurements from every pixel in the image. A choice of lenses is available for use with either model.
