Top Class Digital Video Recorder

The eneo DCR-32N/250DVD is a new duplex digital recorder from the top class. It works based on the Windows operating system, which guarantees compatibility to numerous applications: so, for instance, recorded pictures can be printed out quickly and effortlessly by any Windows-compatible printer.

Furthermore, the DCR-32N/250DVD can be very easily installed into existing networks thanks to the Windows OS. A program (Watchdog) designed especially for the recorder monitors all hardware and software functions and launches automatically within a few seconds should a system error ever occur, which guarantees that video surveillance is uninterrupted.

32 video loop-through inputs

32 video loop-through inputs also make the DCR-32N/250DVD the ideal choice for very large video surveillance systems. It offers recording rates up to 200 fields per second, which guarantees that image replay is also fluid in multi-channel operation. Its maximum video resolution is 640x480 pixels.

Numerous programmable recording modes such as event or time controlled (as well as pre-alarm) are available. An electronic fingerprint is placed in the recordings, which provides reliable evidence as the images cannot be subsequently amended.

MPEG-4 compression

Standard equipment on the DCR-32N/250DVD includes a 250Gbyte EIDE hard disk drive; but the storage capacity can be upgraded to a total of six hard drives and therefore to at least a current capacity of 1500Gbyte (additional hard disk sizes upon request). This, plus the efficient MPEG-4 compression method, support recordings over very long time periods. The integral CD/DVD writer also makes export of very large amounts of data simple.

PTZ and zoom controls

Furthermore, the recorder features a programmable motion detector and supports PTZ and zoom controls. Camera images can be displayed as full frame, quad, 3+4, 3x3, 2+8 and 4x4 and are therefore switchable to fully satisfy any requirements in the current situation. Alarm priorities are configurable for recording rate, resolution and image quality.

The “Minibank Save” function saves video clips as .exe files which include player software, so images can be replayed and analysed on any Windows PC without additional software. And naturally, the DCR-32N/250DVD also comes with extensive search functions.

Ten spot monitor outputs

Of course, the DCR-32N/250DVD also has audio and alarm inputs and outputs, VGA, S-VHS/FBAS outputs, a RS-232 port and even ten spot monitor outputs. A total of six USB 2.0 ports give options for mouse, printer or external storage media connection. Further external data storage and RAID systems can be connected to the SCSI port. Its standard Ethernet port allows the recorder to be installed effortlessly into any network.

As the recorder features an integral web server it can be accessed by any standard browser. Recorder control and operation is very simple thanks to its intuitive graphical user interface. Remote Software is included in the shipping package.
