Eppendorf LoBind Tubes

Whats your benefit?

Eppendorf has developed a line of new microcentrifuge tubes suited for the needs of modern day genetic and protein research. It is proven that as sample sizes are reduced, the binding of valuable nucleic acids and/or proteins to tube walls during storage, handlingor reaction can lead to sample loss. With the new Eppendorf Protein LoBind Tubes and DNA LoBind Tubes these worries are a thing of the past.

The subtle difference: manufacturing and packaging

The tubes are available in volumes of 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml as Safe-Lock, and are guaranteed PCRclean. A combination of special optimized molding technology and selected, highly pure grades ofpolyproplene are used for the production of these tubes. Most importantly, no additional surface coatings are used during the production process. The tubes are packed in small quantities (50/bag)to reduce contamination. Numerous in-house and external tests we have confirmed the low bindingcapacity of these tubes.
