Automated Press

The BHS-­Autopress is a fully automatic filter press which is ­installed in an ­enclosed housing. The machine is ­operated batchwise/ discontinuously. The process area is hermetically sealed to the outside by a movable housing. Filter areas up to 5 m2 and cake thicknesses ­between 10 mm and 25 mm are possible. The machine guarantees best washing ­results at an optimized flow through the filter cake and an exact separation of filtrates. The ­advantage of the BHS-Autopress in chemistry-design is that the filter plates are installed from the top and, therefore, can be changed easily. Possible materials are plastics like polypropylene or PVDF and various stainless steels. Cake discharge is done fully automatically by a scraper system.
